Can you guess where this picture was taken? It's a new place that Ryan, Cooper, the Bean and I will be calling home. About a month ago, I was offered a position with my company out of state. It's a place Ryan and I have ALWAYS talked about going but never seriously tried to do because it's further away from our families. We love our families and friends in AZ very much but we didn't necessarily feel like that was really where we wanted to be. When the opportunity came up, we felt like the there were a few signs pointing us in that direction and so we jumped on it. You see, we had a five year plan to leave Las Vegas... and we are quickly approaching year 8 of that 5 years!!
As of April 1st, Ryan and I will be moving Cooper and the Bean to Portland, Oregon!!! We are so excited for our new adventure and hope it will be everything we are looking for. We will miss our friends in Las Vegas but will be back to visit. We will also be budgeting more for travel so we can fly back to AZ as much as possible! Cooper loves his friends and his grandparents all over the state!
We have been waiting to share the news until we knew it was all a definite yes and I signed the offer letter last week. Now we are in the process of trying to rent out our house here and find a place to live up in Portland. And really, who doesn't want to do something like that when they have a baby on the way?!?! Talk about impeccable timing!
