There isn't really any reason I titled this post in Spanish. I guess I just really wanted to grease the proverbial wheels on the section of my brain where my two years of High School Spanish are stored. Seems to me I haven't forgotten a thing :) Time for another trip to the Mexican beach!
But seriously the Burros de Las Vegas were encountered on a recent hiking trip we took through Red Rock Canyon which is just outside of Las Vegas. These are probably the hippest burros in the southwest, considering they have a pretty sweet view of the Las Vegas Strip just over that ridge in the picture. Other Burros are probably jealous of these guys. Anyway, wow, I have been talking about Burros de Las Vegas for far too long. I came here to update the blog. Duh...
Sorry for the short delay in updates. We've been keeping busy with the young one and the like. Over the last few weeks we have been keeping it pretty low-key. We got to try out our cool new Cooper backpack carrier contraption on the hike through Red Rock. He seemed to really like it - especially when he realizes he has his own "reigns" which I call the hair that sticks out of my head. But hey, if it gives Cooper a laugh then I guess it's worth a couple of infant-sized handfuls of hair missing from my head.
So, we posted some pictures from the hike as well as a few other random shots of Cooper (he seems to be a running theme nowadays) for your perusal.
